About Heiblo Law

Ibrahim Heiblo was born and raised in the City of Sirte, Libya, with a dream to one day immigrate to Canada. Growing up in a family with strong moral beliefs and dedicated work ethics, he was driven not just to work hard but to study even harder. He became a lawyer and went on to work as in-house counsel for the Libyan Foreign Affairs Department, later becoming a member of the senior management team responsible for establishing the foundation of treaties of the African Union, and holding positions in the office of the African Union Commission in Tripoli, Libya.

Upon arriving in Canada, he completed a Diploma in Paralegal Studies and became a Licensed Paralegal in 2013, working in multiple roles in law firms and banks across various areas of law. He went on to complete his Master’s degree at the University of Toronto Law School to become a fully licensed Canadian lawyer. Ibrahim has now founded Heiblo Law Professional Corporation, with a main office in Mississauga and various collaborative offices throughout Ontario, as a sole practitioner.
